The Berkshire Black Economic Council is a newly formed 501c3.
Our mission is to aid and advocate economic development with respect to education, neighborhood revitalization, arts and culture, business ownership, social programming, environmental justice, recruitment and retention of business regarding the Black community of Berkshire Black Entrepreneurs.
The Berkshire Black Economic Council will be having its first kick-off with a networking event this fall to introduce Berkshire Black entrepreneurs to the Berkshire business and nonprofit community. The networking is aimed to highlight Black businesses, facilitate new relationships, inspire new local contracting, and boost economic development.
