“I had the Privilege of nominating Dennis Powell for the ‘Black Excellence on the Hill’ event, sponsored by The Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus . Dennis was honored today by the Caucus in front of hundreds of people statewide for the work he has done for our region. This past year, like every year, he organized local action to stand up to racial injustice, and he expanded the NAACP branch’s membership and scholarship funds in the process. Congratulations Dennis and thank you for all you do.”
