Dear friends,
I hope everyone is safe and healthy during this challenging time. I’m reaching out to you on behalf of a courageous and hard working group of Latino mothers who desperately need your help.
These women have been sewing face masks for over a month now and selling them in the local community for a small profit to keep their families afloat during this terrible crisis.
However, as more people are making masks and prices are going down, the women have found themselves with less buyers, in addition to having an excess of more than 3,000 masks and no way of selling them!
The majority of these women are single mothers who lost their jobs due to COVID-19, and who are not eligible for any governmental assistance due to immigration status, and this job represents their only mean of income as of now. Please consider purchasing masks from this group for yourself or even to donate to those that need them the most.
