Organizers say all rallies are to be peaceful, and participants are encouraged to bring signs, flags and friends. June 14 is also Flag Day.
Berkshire County events include the following:
Williamstown: 8 a.m., Relay for Democracy, Field Park. This event kicks off the Flag Day/No Kings relay featuring a ceremonial flag passed via vehicle parade, with stops at rallies along Vermont’s Route 7 corridor to the Canadian border. North Adams: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., City Hall. Rally features speakers, live music and a Forbidden Words parade. Information: Wendy Penner, wendypenner@gmail.com.
Stockbridge: Noon to 1:30 p.m. in front of the Town Offices, 50 Main St. Sign up to attend at mobilize.us/nokings/event/796240/.
