Purpose:

We advocate for equitable local, state, and federal policies that establish education standards, allocate resources, and set priorities for education and workforce systems. NAACP National Education Committee.

Operations: Monthly (third Wednesday of the month)

Annual Goals:

To monitor, participate, and encourage the highest educational standards for all in the county.

  4. Education Survey

Special Event

NAACP Berkshire County Branch, in collaboration with The Pittsfield Public School District, provided an extraordinary learning opportunity for students from Pittsfield and Taconic High Schools through the viewing of the movie Till at the Beacon Cinema. Members of the Branch held talk-backs with each group of students following the showing (December 2022)
