A Letter From Pittsfield / WXW Celebrates MLK
In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. day, WordXWord invites poets to add their voices in reflection on the life and legacy of, as well as the causes championed by, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. This event will be held on January 20, 7P at the Berkshire Museum, 39 South Street, Pittsfield, MA. Poets of any age, experience level and style are invited to join in this celebration (pre-registration is required).
Suggested starting places include:
- Use a quote from MLK as a title or prompt
- Speak to the causes championed by MLK

- Reflect on MLK’s life’s work and where we stand now and/or the road ahead
