Manos Unidas presents it’s 2nd Annual Celebration of 4 Kings Day, an evening of food, gift giving, and celebration featuring a performed bi-lingual reading of I HAD A DREAM, a play written by local artist David Detmold reminding us of the harrowing and haunting travails at the border and a renewed resolve to fight for our humanity!
3 Kings Day is a holiday in Latin America that celebrates the wise men led by the Star to the Christ child, a symbol of love and humanity but we add in a 4th King, Martin Luther King, who is also a star that led us and continues to lead us toward a more humane and just way of living.
