Rhapsody in Black – Community Conversation
Developed at NYC’s Actors Studio with Estelle Parsons, the 60-minute Rhapsody in Black will be presented virtually by the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in collaboration with Clinton Church Restoration from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.
A post-show community conversation will be held via Zoom on Sunday, March 14 at 7 pm. The dialogue will be moderated by Frances Jones-Sneed, Clinton Church Restoration board member and chair of its Council of Scholars, who will be joined by artist Leland Gantt, Howard University junior Olivia Nda, and African American Studies teacher Jamal Ahamad.
