Young@Heart Chorus Performance
In 2019 Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. (Elder Services) proudly celebrates its 45th Anniversary. Our modest beginnings in 1974 were borne of the belief that seniors should have the opportunity to live with dignity, independence and self -determination and to achieve the highest possible quality of life. For more than 45 years we have helped thousands of our neighbors remain in their homes through the services and programs we offer. You or someone you know may have benefitted from Elder Services.
To celebrate our Anniversary and recognize those we’ve proudly served during the past 45 years, the Agency will present the Young@Heart Chorus’ performance at Pittsfield’s historic Colonial Theatre on Sunday September 22nd at 4 pm.
The Young@Heart Chorus, which last performed in Pittsfield in 2010, is an ensemble of performers from the Northampton area ranging in ages from 70 to 93. The September 22nd performance, Catching Up to the Counterculture, will feature music from the Woodstock Festival in honor of the Festival’s 50th Anniversary. The Young@Heart Chorus has performed throughout the United States and overseas, and was recently featured as one of CNN’s Champions for Change.
Tickets for the performance can be purchased by doing a search for the Young@Heart performance on the Berkshire Theatre Group website.
