On October 18th, The Town of Great Barrington will mark the 51st anniversary of the dedication of the W.E.B. Du Bois homesite with an invitation to engage and reflect on the legacy of hometown hero and internationally renowned activist-scholar W.E.B. Du Bois.
The event is coordinated by the Great Barrington W.E.B. Du Bois Legacy Committee, established in 2018 to honor and maintain the town’s commitments to the pillars of progressive education, civil rights, economic justice, and racial equity.
